Spring!

What a beautiful day! Too bad I was stuck inside at work all day. Early daylight savings is the best thing ever. Yesterday I worked late and got in my first outdoor run of the year before dark. Note: running outside is way harder than running on an indoor track. I did pretty well, but my ankle and knee are hurting pretty bad today. Not the kind of pain you want to run off, but the kind you want to rest. I better take the night off.

My focus on learning to run is taking focus off of cycling. Which after my last few discouraging rides may just be an excuse. I really have to get on my bike.

I opened a few windows in my house to get a nice breeze. Roscoe has spent the last hour jumping from open window to open window. He's loving it!

Better to ease into cycling and not take on too much too fast.

Everyone gets into it at their own pace.

But it's easy on the ankles, for sure.

Taz was so happy to sit in the window and check out the birds before I left.
