Wrenshall Time Trial

I did my first ever bike race today at the Wrenshall Time Trial. It was cold, raining and windy. Yuck.

I can't say anything for my time except I did better than a couple of children, But I was out there and I did it, which is more than most can say.

I also noticed that when someone passes you with a disk wheel it sounds like something bad is going to happen on "Lost."

You can be proud that you didn't crash out or quit!

The real race should be more fun.

Considering there were only 15 women or something total, it's more than every other woman in the state of minnesota can say, but us.

I got really excited when I was about to pass someone. Needless to say, it took the triumph out of it when I discovered it was a 13 year old boy.

Good luck in the Crit. I'll be cheering for you!

Hey! Way to go!!!

Ooo, I so know what you mean about the disc wheel sounds.

One thing about being aging and many multisport events, the "older" females are often sent in the last wave. This generally sucks, but at least you don't have to hear the predator disc wheels coming up behind you.
