I understand that some people have their own reasons for wanted to see the collapsed bridge with their own eyes. A lot of the reasons that I have heard from people seem valid enough. Fine. Go see the bridge. But for Cripes sake be aware of your surroundings. Look before crossing the street! Look before making a u-turn in the middle of the street! Don't slow down on University Ave! I think it might be asking too much to watch for bikes.
The Stone Arch Bridge re-opened on Saturday night. You can see a lot of the wreckage from Stone Arch. If you feel like you need to, go to the Stone Arch and see the bridge. I give you one week. Then I want you off the bridge so I can use it for what it is for: walking, running, and biking across.
