Just a quick break from studying to report on a few milestones that occurred last night.

My good friend Donna from junior high/high school got married last night. It was a really awesome time. From my vantage point it could not have been a more perfect wedding. She was beautiful of course and I got to catch up with some high school friends that I actually wanted to catch up with. (You know how awkward it is to run into people from high school that you didn't really care to see again and then it's all awkward, well, this wasn't like that.)

I got to introduce Tim to everyone. Last night was also a big night for him. For one, he had to wear a tie to the wedding, but he doesn't know how to tie a tie. I bought him a couple of ties for Christmas last year as well as an instructional video on how to tie a tie. Right before we left I caught a glimpse of him watching the video with a tie around his neck trying to figure it all out. Adorable. When we got to the wedding a friend of mine even told him that his tie looked great and asked what kind of a knot it was!

The other big milestone was after 4 years Tim and I actually danced together. It was so much fun. I thought it would be hard to get him on the dance floor but all it took was the DJ playing "Total Eclipse of the Heart." We even had a choreographed version by the end of the song. So much fun.

Congratulations Donna and AJ, and thanks for the great night!
