I registered for eHarmony.com today just to see if I would be rejected. I didn't answer the questions for the purpose of being rejected. I answered them honestly just to see what would happen.
The first thing I noticed was it's totally hetero. You are immediately presented with 2 options: man seeking woman or woman seeking man.
There also wasn't a lot of gray area as far as religion goes. In fact, there wasn't a whole lot of room to declare yourself as not being religious or practicing a religion.
Besides being generally vanilla, it was pretty standard and what you'd expect.
When it came time to view my matches...I was rejected.
It said, "Our matching criteria, based on the 29 dimensions of compatibility, are extremely strict, and are what makes eHarmony a unique and powerful tool in finding your soul mate. We will keep searching and hope to find some wonderful matches for you soon."
Why? I'm glad I already have my soulmate.
