Sunday afternoon Tim and I joined Keith and Theresa for Serendib at the Hippodrome. It was a good play complete with monkey puppets! We stayed for the "talk with the playwright" afterward which was interesting. Usually I hate those things because stupid audience members end up asking stupid questions. This of course happened, but David Zellnik was an entertaining interviewee. At one point he respectfully made a snide comment about the snake puppet they chose to use. Something about it being "fantastical." It was pretty awesome.
Afterward we walked over to Boca Fiesta for some drinks. It was a nice day to hang out on the patio. Chatty drunk Sarah even came out (you know I like you when I'm comfortable enough to drink and get chatty with you). When we started getting hungry we went over to Kickin' Devil for some sandwiches. They were closing when we walked in, but they insisted we stay (we hate being "those people" but they convinced us it was ok). The food was great and we had another good experience there.
After our day out, Tim and I came home to a very cuddly Otis. We all just hung out on the couch and watched tv. I'm currently on Spring break, and it's so nice to be able to relax and not think about all the stuff I have to do. Not that I don't have anything to do, it's just easier to procrastinate. Speaking of, I better grade some papers.
